I teach a completely free prenatal breastfeeding class in one-on-one or small group settings. This class is offered virtually and in-office only (not via home visits), and can be attended in both my Wilmington and Cincinnati office locations. We will go over:

  • Preparing for breastfeeding success beginning immediately after birth

  • Positioning and technique for successful and comfortable latching and feeding

  • Information on hand expression and pumping

  • How to know if baby is getting enough milk

  • Common breastfeeding myths and pitfalls

  • Ways to protect your milk supply if medical supplementation is indicated

  • NICU support

  • Engorgement

  • When to see an IBCLC

Whether this is your first time breastfeeding, or you’ve done it before and just want a refresher, a prenatal breastfeeding class can empower you with information for a successful breastfeeding relationship from the start. Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend!

If you’d like to attend a prenatal breastfeeding class, please complete the interest form and I will reach out to you within one week about scheduling.
