I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, have a Perinatal Mental Health Certification, and I am a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor working toward becoming an IBCLC.

When to Contact an IBCLC Instead
You or your baby have more complex medical needs requiring extra monitoring and support
Cracked, bleeding nipples and/or severe nipple pain
Concerns with baby’s weight gain
Concerns about oral restrictions/ties
Support for medical equipment such as using an SNS or nipple shield support
Concerns about medical needs such as thrush, mastitis
Bottle refusal and more advance bottle feeding needs/support
Managing low milk supply or oversupply
Relactation and inducing lactation
